Acting Through Directing
I studied directing at Marquette University where I trained under Debra Krajec and Maureen Kilmurry. As a director, I lead with kindness and confidence. My background as an actor informs every decision in the room, and keeps me focused on what is important. At the end of the day, I am a storyteller and a collaborator that understands the value of building a safe space in the rehearsal room. When people feel comfortable and supported, they do their best work.

My purpose as a director is to build a world in which actors can immerse themselves, and to provide audiences with a story they can disappear into. While I have a deep love of Shakespeare, I am interested in working on any theatrical experience that brings me joy. This may include classical pieces that mirror our current society, riveting social justice plays that educate and empower, musicals that take us on a journey through song, and hilarious comedies that allow us to sit back and laugh, reminding us of community and togetherness.
