Wednesdays With Will #6 - Messengers
Our Wednesdays With Will series is back to bring you closer to the people around you through shared Shakespeare learning and activities you can do from home! This week, we're talking messenger characters in Shakespeare's plays. The plays that Shakespeare wrote have very high stakes and big emotions - together, we say the plays have heightened circumstances. This also means that Shakespeare's plays move very quickly and a lot happens, so often, Shakespeare wrote messenger characters who helped deliver news and move the plot along quickly. Learn more with us about who these messengers were and the kind of news they delivered, then deliver news about yourself by writing a letter to someone! After you've done that, you can send us a picture of your completed letter, either in the comments or at info@summitplayerstheatre.com, and we might feature it!
